Notice Regarding Changes to the Tokyo Metropolitan Accommodation Tax (Effective April 2027)

Thank you for choosing HOTEL METROPOLITAN TOKYO HANEDA.
Due to a revision of the Tokyo Metropolitan Accommodation Tax Ordinance, the accommodation tax rate will change as follows for stays starting Thursday, April 1, 2027. Please note that the new accommodation tax will apply to all stays on or after Thursday, April 1, 2027, regardless of the date the reservation was made or the date of payment. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Until Wednesday, March 31, 2027 (Current: Flat Rate)

Room Rate (per person, per night)	Accommodation Tax
Less than 10,000 JPY	Tax-exempt
10,000 JPY to less than 15,000 JPY	100 JPY
15,000 JPY and over	200 JPY

From Thursday, April 1, 2027 (New: Percentage Rate)

Room Rate (per person, per night)	Accommodation Tax
Less than 13,000 JPY	Tax-exempt
13,000 JPY and over	3% of the room rate (Fractions under 100 JPY are rounded down)

Please pay the accommodation tax at the front desk upon check-in.
The taxable "room rate" refers to the basic room charge plus service charges.
It does not include meals, consumption tax, or other incidental charges.
